Bucheon City of Literature

Bucheon City Library

The Bucheon City Library serves as an open cultural space where citizens learn, connect, and grow together, while also functioning as the city's knowledge and cultural platform. Through a network of subject-specialized regional libraries and neighborhood community libraries, it provides convenient access to knowledge, culture, and lifelong learning for everyone.

With 16 specialized libraries, a collection of approximately 2 million volumes, and a wide range of digital resources, the library offers comprehensive information services for readers of all ages. It also fosters a vibrant reading culture by organizing diverse literary programs, cultural events, and community participation initiatives that connect books, people, and neighborhoods.
As a cornerstone of Bucheon, a UNESCO Creative City of Literature, the Bucheon City Library nurtures a culture where learning, reading, and creativity are part of everyday life. It continues to inspire citizens by providing an inclusive cultural environment where knowledge, imagination, and creativity can flourish.
