Woncheon Park | Constructed by the City of Bucheon in 2003 for the expansion of rest areas for citizens and the promotion of outdoor activities, Woncheon Park is also the source of Citizens’ River. It comprises various convenience facilities, outdoor physical exercise equipment and a green park. |
Sangdong Lake Park | On March 24, 2003, the City of Bucheon opened up a large park centered on Sangdong Lake for the welfare and promotion of outdoor activities for citizens. It comprises a fountain, roller blade park, badminton court, gateball field, basketball court and many other facilities. |
Citizens’ River | Citizens’ River is a 5.5km long, 3 to 5m wide and 20-30m deep artificial river constructed in the city center. The first and largest of its kind in the country, it is the nation’s first-ever eco-friendly river that flows effluent recycled from a sewage treatment plant. |
Korea Manhwa Contents Agency | Variety of comics-related facilities dispersed throughout Bucheon, including Korea Comics Museum, Cartoon Library, Industry Support Office and Bucheon International Animation Festival, have been integrated into a single facility. It will become Korea’s largest comics industry cluster. |
Aiins World | Model of a theme park at a 1/25 scale of the actual size, established as a park with educational and cultural values. It was created and opened by Aiin Co., Ltd. in Bucheon Media and Culture Complex on November 15, 2003. |
Gulpocheon | Gulpocheon is a stream that starts in Bukdong Valley of Cheolmasan Mountain in Bupyeong-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon and passes through the Wonmi and Ojeong regions of Bucheon before cutting through the City of Gimpo and, eventually, flowing into the Hangang River. |
